Preparations are underway at the Tema Community 4 Basketball Court for the Game On Tournament scheduled to take place tonight.
At the time of Basketballghana.com’s visit to the court, seats were being arranged to adhere to COVID 19 social distancing measures. Other measures including wearing of nose masks for fans are to be enforced Ghana’s leading basketball portal gathers.
The one day competition is due to commence at 16:00 GMT at the facility popularly known as the Chinese Court in Ghana’s Harbour City.
Four teams are slated to compete in today’s competition with Tema Community 4 Oldies, Sakumono Oldies, Tema Community 4 Youngings and Sakumono Youngings participating.
The tournament is a corroborative effort between the Tema Basketball League (TBL) and Ground Up Music Group which is headlined by Kwesi Arthur.
The BET Award nominated Rapper endorsed the tournament earlier on this week and called on all to support basketball in the country.
A handful of players in the TBL are in line to participate in the tournament.
