Basketballghana.com gathers Ghanaian rising basketball star Nathan Mensah is in line to feature in his first competitive game in almost a year.

Since December 19, the 6 foot 10 inch Center has been absent for San Diego State University Men’s team due to a health scare that forced him to miss a huge chunk of the 2019-2020 season.

Mensah played 13 games last season before being diagnosed with pulmonary embolism after complaining of shortness of breath.

He recently returned to training in a group setting as he joined his teammates in offseason training sessions to prepare for the 2020-2021 US Men’s College Basketball season.

San Diego play UCLA in its opening game of the campaign at 3:30 AM on Thursday, November and Mensah is expected to start; Basketballghana.com gathers he will continue to use blood thiners.
