Basketballghana.com can confirm James Madison University Men’s Basketball Team has paused all activities after a member tested positive for COVID 19.

The team reported a positive test prior to the announcement of another positive test prompting the pause to all activities in relation to competing in the 2020-2021 season.

James Madison University has won two of three regular season games played thus far; The Dukes secured wins over Limestone University and Radford University respectively.

Budding Ghanaian Center Joel Mensah is in his first season with James Madison after spending two years at San Diego State University prior to transferring this offseason.

He has played in all James Madison games this season and has started in two games but has had a slow start to life at his new home.

In three games, the 6 foot 10 inch player is averaging two points, three rebounds in eight minutes this season. Mensah is majoring in finance and is renowned for his athletic shot blocking and rim protection skills.
