Basketballghana.com can report Ghana Forward Ben Bentil led all players in scoring en route to leading Panathinaikos BC to a 21 point win over Peristeri BC.

Peristeri lost 57-76 to Panathinaikos in Round 7 of the Greek A1 Basketball League with Bentil scoring 15 points in his first game against his former team in the 2020-2021 season.

Despite starting the game off the bench, the 6 foot 8 inch Sekondi native showed out against Peristeri; Bentil played for Peristeri during the 2018-2019season in his debut campaign in Greece.

The former Providence College player played 20 minutes and added three rebounds and a steal to his tally in the contest. He converted four of five shots from two point range, one of two shots from three point range and four of six free throws respectively.

Teammates Nemanja Nedovic and Ioannis Papapetrou scored 11 points apiece with Jeffrey Crockett the only Peristeri player to score in double figures in the game.

Panathinaikos has five wins in five games this season.
