Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghanaian Small Forward Reggie Agbeko is now a starter for his club Ventero Villarobledo in his debut season.

Agbeko signed for Ventero from fellow Spanish LEB Silver side Albacete this offseason and started the season as a member of the second unit.

However, the 28 year old’s improved form has seen him move from the second unit to the starting lineup for the eighth ranked Ventero side.

The team has three wins and four losses thus far in the season and Agbeko was instrumental in Ventero’s third win of the season.

In seven games, the former Cape Coast based Agbeko is averaging 7.6 points and 6.7 rebounds in his second season in Spain. He played professionally for Bakken Bears in Denmark after graduating from St. Louis University in 2017.
