Brimah

Ghana and Fort Wayne Mad Ants Center Amida Brimah has indicated his team has what it takes to make the 2021 NBA Gatorade League (G League) playoffs.

He made this comment in an interview with American news outlet Fox 55 in the aftermath of Fort Wayne’s 122-117 double overtime win over 2019 G League Champions Raptors 905.

The win is Mad Ants third in eight games played thus far with Brimah playing in three of those games after arriving late to the World Disney Resort bubble in Orlando, Florida due to a visa problem.

However, after recording its second win in a row, the athletic protector is adamant his team can make the playoffs despite the slow start.

“I think we have the team to do it-make the playoffs and I think us making the playoffs is going to give the fans in Fort Wayne a lot of excitement” he said in the interview.

Brimah is averaging 10 points, 7.7 rebounds and four blocks in three games; he registered 12 points, eight rebounds and five blocks against Raptors.
