Head Coach of NBA Gatorade League (G-League) team Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Tom Hankins, has commended Ghana Center Amida Brimah for his improvement.

He made this statement according to American news outlet Journal Gazette in the aftermath of Brimah’s starring role in a 122-117 double overtime win over Raptors 905; Brimah registered 12 points, eight rebounds and five blocks in the contest.

Amida didn’t feature in Fort Wayne’s first five games this season but has impressed in his four game outing thus far; the 6 foot 10 inch defender missed the early action due to a late arrival to the World Disney Resort Bubble where the G League season is taking place.

“He’s really made a ton of improvement. He really wanted to get better and made a lot of improvement in his ability to catch the ball and his scoring around the basket” Hankins said of Brimah.

This is Brimah’s third season in the G League after spending two seasons at Austin Spurs and winning the title in 2018.
