KNUST (Green) v Radford at 2021 UPAC

Radford University College Sports Coordinator Emmanuel Ayittah has stated it is possible for students to combine education and sports and excel in both.

He made this statement while speaking to members of St. Peter’s Mission Senior High School Basketball Team when Radford University visited St. Peter’s Campus in Ogbojo, Accra on Tuesday, March 2.

2020 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Champions Radford presented hand sanitizers, nose masks, liquid soaps, basketballs and items from MTN to St. Peter’s to aid Ghana’s fight against COVID 19.

In his speech, he introduced members of the basketball team to Radford University’s eye catching study courses including Fashion Design and Graphic Design while encouraging them to pursue excellence in both fields.

“I want to encourage each and every one of you that you can actually combine sports and your education…it is possible to go for training sessions and still be very serious when it comes to class work” he said.

Radford Coach Ato Sam was present at the event.

Radford won the 2020 UPAC with a 58-46 win over Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
