Accra Basketball League (ABL) Director Alex Kukula has indicated he will focus on youth development matters at the Ghana Basketball Conference.
He said this in a chat with Basketballghana.com ahead of the Conference set to take place via Zoom later this month. The official announcement of the date is yet to be communicated.
The Conference is targeting stakeholders of the sport in Ghana and beyond and the public on addressing issues affecting basketball in the West African nation and finding solutions to harness the enormous potential.
After stating the need for such an event, Kukula pointed out the importance of developing the youth sector hence the reason for his focus towards the Conference.
“For me may focus is mainly on youth basketball because when I look at the league we run now, people are quite advanced in age and if we want the future to be bright then we need to focus more on the youth sides so that maybe in a few years we will have a very competitive team” he said.
