Basketballghana.com gathers Tema Community 4 Basketball Club will engage Sakumono Titans in a friendly game this weekend at the Tema Community 4 Court popularly known as the Chinese Court.
The friendly tips off on Sunday, June 20 at 17:30 GMT and forms part of the team’s preparations for the upcoming season due to tip soon according to league organizers.
The Tema Basketball League (TBL) has been on a longer than expected break due to the emergence of the COVID 19 pandemic that resulted in a ban on participation in contact sports in Ghana.
With strict measures easing in the country, the time is right to commence the league that had Nungua Coldstore edge Spintex Knights to clinch the 2019 title.
Community 4 won the 2017 title and has been involved in a series of friendly games during the break including taking on Ghana Navy Basketball Club at the Biekro Barracks Court a fortnight ago.
Titans made it to the playoffs in 2019 which was the team’s debut run in the league but exited in the first round.
