Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghanaian-Canadian International Power Forward Nana Owusu-Anane’s jersey number has been released.
The 6 foot 8 inch athletic Power Forward will wear jersey number 31 in his first/ freshman year with Brown University Men’s Basketball Team.
Jersey numbers were recently released by the team officially as preparations continue for the start of the 2021-2022 Regular Season and Post season.
Ghana’s biggest basketball portal can also report the schedule for Brown University has been released and the first game of the season commences on November 9 against Salve Regina.
However, the Ivy League commences on November 26 and is due to end on March 5 with a game against Yale University; Ghana Forward Yusif Basa-Ama is on Yale’s roster. The postseason Ivy League Tournament runs from March 11 to March 13.
Owusu-Anane recently played for Canada at the FIBA Under 19 World Cup and played seven games in the tournament where he averaged 4.6 points and 4.9 rebounds in 16.6 minutes.
Canada finished in third place.
