Ahead of the commencement of the second round of games in the 2021 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I Regular Season, Reformers of Prisons Basketball Team has had a fine run.

The team would be aiming to maintain the type of form it showed in the first round to lead its group at the close of the first half of the season. League action returns on Wednesday, September 8 at the Prisons Court in Cantonments in Accra.

Reformers lead Group B of the Men’s Division I with eight points from winning all four games played thus far. 2019 League finalist Adenta Leopards rank second with seven points from winning three of four games.

Ghana Police Service has two wins in four games and ranks third in the group; one of Police’s two losses came via a lost protest after the team disputed the ABL Board’s decision to have the team play an overtime game against Prisons.

Tema Youth shockingly ranks fourth in the group with just a win from four games and Kawukudi Warriors rank last in the group with no wins in four outings.

Reigning Champions Braves of Customs lead Group A with eight points from winning all four games played. Below is a full breakdown of the Groups:
