Ghana's Braves of Customs competed in BAL qualifiers in 2019

Defending Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I Champions Braves of Customs goes into Game 2 of the 2021 League Finals Playoff series in desperate need of a win.

The team lost 58-76 to Reformers of Prisons in Game One at the Prisons Court in Cantonment a week ago and needs a win later today in Game 2 to avoid losing its title via a sweep. (Click highlighted text to read game report)

Braves (green) v Reformers in 2021 Game One

Tonight’s game tips off at 16:30 GMT at the aforementioned venue; TUSK Foundation plays Ghana Navy in the Men’s Division II playoffs earlier with the game tipping off at 15:00 GMT.

Braves have been their usual flawless record selves throughout the 2021 campaign winning all eight regular season games and beating 2019 Finalist Leopards Basketball Club in the early rounds of the playoffs.

However, the perennial league champions fell short against a motivated Reformers team that is yet to lose a game all season long. Prisons recruitment in the offseason has yielded massive results and puts the team a win away from winning the league title.
