Reformers of Prisons have won the 2021 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I title but its Women’s Team missed out on the latter’s Division title on the final day of the 2021 Season.

Prisons Men’s Team swept the best of three game series in the playoff final against Braves of Customs; Reformers bagged a 76-58 win in Game One and a 61-55 win in Game 2 to seal the win and lift the Benjamin Baafi Trophy.

It is the team’s first ever league title and it could have been double joy for the Prisons outfit had the Female team seen off defending champions Ghana Police Service.

Despite taking a 68-56 win in Game One, Police rallied hard to record a 49-37 win in Game 2 and a 52-30 win in Game 3 earlier tonight to dampen the mood a bit for Prisons. Police has won the title in three straight years.
