Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghana Center Amida Brimah has made his official debut for Belgian side Oostende since joining the team earlier this month.

Oostende lost 78-83 to Turkish side Tofas Bursa in the regular season of the 2021-2022 FIBA Basketball Champions League. Tofas leads Group F with nine points after bagging three wins in four games.

Brimah’s team on the other hand, is in danger of missing out on progressing to the next round; Oostende ranks third in the group with two wins in five games.

Former Indiana Pacers player Brimah, played 22 minutes as a starter but had a not so brilliant start to life with Oostende registering four point, six rebounds and four blocked shots. He turned the ball over twice. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)

The 6 foot inch athletic defender converted two of five two point shot attempts but attempted no free throw or three point shot attempts in the contest.

Bursa’s Pako Cruz led all players in scoring with 24 points. Oostende plays Brussels in the Belgian League next; Brimah is competing in the Champions League for the first time since turning pro in 2018.
