Basketballghana.com can confirm the second edition of the Clockwork Brand led Game of Threes Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, January 29 at the Semanhyia Golden Mall.

The recently constructed plush Mall is headlining the Clockwork one day event hence the official name, Game of Threes Golden Jam and similar initiatives have been lined up by Clockwork CEO Emmanuel Ekow Amoako. (Click highlighted text to read story)

In an exclusive interview with Basketballghana.com on the sidelines of the Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA)-Lithuania Basketball Federation (LBF)/ International Basketball University (IBU) Team visit to the Ashanti Region, Amoako expressed his excitement for the tournament’s second edition.

“This-Golden Jam tournament-happens on the 29th of January and I know it’s going to be amazing” he said. The maiden edition took place in 2021 at the Brunel Sports Complex at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Sports Apparel company Clockwork has branched out into basketball events organization over the years and successfully put together the Kumasi Basketball League and StreetBall at the Mall tournaments among others.

3×3 is the abridged form of the standard sport of basketball and it is very popular in Ghana like in many other countries.
