Basketballghana.com can report Ghanaian-American Center Selom Mawugbe has made his debut for Santa Cruz Warriors in the 2021-2022 NBA Gatorade League (G-League) Regular Season.
His debut came in a 111-126 loss to Rio Grande Valley Vipers; Santa Cruz-affiliate of NBA’s Golden State Warriors- has four wins and six losses this season. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)

Despite playing just 11 minutes off the bench, Mawugbe registered four points, three rebounds and four blocks in the game. His blocks stat led all players.
The 6 foot 10 inch former Azusa Pacific University graduate is playing in the G League with Santa Cruz for the second year in a row after competing in last year’s edition that was played out in a bubble due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

The 23 year old played 12 games in his first year in the G-League and averaged 5.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game in 19 minutes.
Santa Cruz plays Austin Spurs later tonight; Mawugbe is an athletic defender who can play Power Forward and Center positions.
