After winning its eighth Italian Basketball Cup title, Olimpia Milano is set to turn its attention to competing in the Euroleague Regular Season.

Milano topped Tortona 78-68 in the Italian Cup Final this past weekend to win its first trophy of the season. Ghana Forward Ben Bentil played 16 minutes and registered seven points, three rebounds an assist and a steal.

Winning the title gives Bentil his second European Cup title win in two years after helping Panathinaikos win the 2020-2021 Greek Basketball Cup.

Milano will compete in Europe’s premier competition against Olympiacos, UNICS Kazan and Panathinaikos on February 24, March 1 and March 4 respectively.

In the upcoming games, former Dallas Mavericks player Bentil will go against his former big rival in Olympiakos and his former team Panathinaikos.

Bentil spent three seasons in Greece before moving to Italy; he played two seasons at Panathinaikos and won two league titles plus the Greek Cup and played a season at Peristeri.

Aside Greece, Bentil has played in Spain and France.
