Denzel Mensah can report American born Ghanaian Point Guard Denzel Mensah has gotten off to a blistering start to life in the Armenia Basketball League.

The 6 foot 2 inch Guard has played just three games for Armenian side BKMA-Yerevan and is averaging 42.8 points, 17 rebounds and five assists.

Mensah produced 39 points, 16 rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 40 minutes in a 106-90 win over Gyumri on February 13 and proceeded to register 41 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, a steal and a block in a 113-102 win over FIMA on February 18.

Former Penn State University-Wilkes Barre player Mensah, has bounced around multiple spots since graduating in 2015. The 28 year old recently played in the Spanish lower division for Valencia.

He also featured in the All Star Game in Armenia despite his brief appearances in the league; his scoring and rebounding exploits have made him a top tier league player.

Mensah headlined a basketball clinic in Ghana a couple of years ago at PRESEC-Legon.
