Basketballghana.com can report Filou Oostende won’t be in action till March 6, 2022 after nabbing its 18th win in 18 games in the BNXT Pro League.

Ghana Center Amida Brimah plays for Oostende and is competing in Belgium for the first time in his professional basketball career.

Filou beat Spirou Chaleroi 100-90 in its last outing on Sunday, February 20 to maintain first place in the league standings; Brimah registered 23 points, seven rebounds and two steals in 24:53 minutes in the win.

Oostende returns to action on March 6 against Dutch side Donar Groningen in the BNXT Winners Stage before taking on Prometey in the FIBA Basketball Champions League on March 9.

Brimah’s team is winless after three games in the Round of 16 in Europe and needs to win as many games as possible to stand a chance of making it to the Quarterfinals.

Oostende will battle Limburg United in the Belgian Basketball Cup Final on March 13 with the chance to win its first title of the season.
