2021 ABL Men's Division Champions Reformers of Prisons

Basketballghana.com can confirm the start date for the 2022 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Season has been postponed following an official communication from the Greater Accra Basketball Association (GABBA).

The new league season was scheduled to commence on February 22 this year but Ghana’s leading basketball portal can report a technical issue relating to statistics forced the change of the start date.

2021 ABL Women’s Division Champions Ghana Police Service

League officials are working to migrate the league on to the NBN 23 Statistics system to aid the improvement of data collection for the league.

The new start date for the league is Tuesday, March 8 with Reformers of Prisons as Defending Men’s Division I Champs while Ghana Police Service are the Defending Women’s Division Champions.

TUSK Foundation won the 2021 Men’s Division II; it was the first league title for the team just as it was the first Division I title for Reformers.

Police repeated as Champions in the Female Division at the expense of surprise package Reformers of Prisons. GABBA recently conducted a Congress and a majority of the old regime maintained their seats to serve another term in office including GABBA Chairman Ayitey Bulley.
