Braves of Customs have made a winning start to life in the 2022 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Season via recording a 48-23 win over Ghana Air Force.

Last year’s finalist recorded the win earlier today at the Prisons Court in Cantonments in the first of three games played at the league venue. The matchup was the sole fixture in the Women’s Division.

Braves v Air Force in 2022 ABL Women’s Regular Season Game

Air Force scored just a point in the third quarter; Braves on the other hand had no problem scoring off fast breaks and from the free throw line.

Gloria Gyampoh, Martina Doe and Stephanie Annan grabbed points for Braves; Air Force trailed 17-37 Braves at the end of the third quarter.

Braves scored points off good ball movement before Vanessa McCaire scored a three pointer from the top of the key.

Air Force’s Naa Dedei Tahoe completed a three point play and added a three pointer. Gladys Amenyo and Rukaiya Osman scored the final points for Braves to record the 15 point win.
