In the first of a back to back game schedule, American-Ghanaian Guard Denzel Mensah has registered another 30 point plus performance for BKMA.

The 6 foot 2 inch powerhouse of a Guard scored 39 points in BKMA’s 90-70 win over Artsakh while adding 16 rebounds, 11 assists, and a blocked shot in 40 minutes as a starter.

This is Mensah’s first triple double since joining the Armenian side in early February after a brief stint in Spain’s minor division with Valencia.

The former Pennsylvania State University-Barre Wilkes product did most of his scoring damage in field goal range as he converted 15 of 24 shot attempts.

His overall scoring tally would have been higher had he been more efficient from three point range; he scored just two out of 10 attempts; he did turn the ball over four times in the game.

Mensah was named Player of the Month in February

The teams face off later today in a repeat fixture; Mensah is averaging 42 points, six assists and 17 rebounds.
