After wrapping up the Takoradi Leg of the Iungo World Ghana Tour, Basketball Instructor Jerry Johnson is already looking forward to the next edition of the event.

He said this in his closing remarks of the Basketball Camp organized at the Takoradi Technical University (TTU) in Ghana’s Western regional capital, Sekondi-Takoradi.

Iungo World’s Tour is to promote grassroots basketball in Ghana and connect young athletes to a wider audience via the sports firm’s platform for better career opportunities.

Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) President Ato Van-Ess , Western Basketball Association (WBA) Chairman William Ocran and other WBA Executives were present at the event.

“We want to be working so everybody in the world sees what’s going on here in Ghana. I think there is a lot of potential here and we want to help you guys and girls be exposed to and we want to help bring value to you all…it was fun and we look forward to the next one” former 13 year pro Guard Johnson said.

Student-basketball players from the likes of St. John’s Senior High School participated in the event.
