eCampus LLC Chief Executive Officer Cecil Nutakor has stated his outfit has extensive plans to get the EduSports Project beyond Ghana’s Greater Accra Region.
He said this in an exclusive chat with Basketballghana.com in the lead up to the launch of the Project at the Adenta Court later today at 14:00 GMT.
EduSports is a unique program geared towards enhancing academic performance of student athletes via the eCampus online platform that provides subscribers access to extensive teaching and learning materials.
The project was born out of a partnership between eCampus LLC, RITE Sports Limited and TUSK Foundation, a youth basketball program.
Quizzed on the project’s target area, Nutakor stated:
“We are going to start from Greater Accra specifically Adenta because of our relationship with TUSK Foundation and we hope to scale across other communities overtime and get in across the entire country so it’s a very long term project; we are looking at over a period of 10 to 20 years to see how we could systematically integrate sports and education”
