Basketballghana.com can confirm Olimpia Milano will know the team it will battle in the first round of the Euroleague Basketball Championship playoffs later this week.
Ghana Power Forward Ben Bentil plays for Milano and has been a permanent feature for Milano since signing for them earlier this season.
The Italian team is scheduled to play against Anadolou Efes or Maccabi Tel Aviv in the quarterfinals of the playoffs with the opening game of the series taking place on April 19.
Milano completed the 2021-2022 Euroleague Regular Season in third place; Maccabi plays Fenerbache in an outstanding game on Wednesday, April 13. The outcome of the game determines whether Maccabi closes the regular season in sixth place or fifth place.
Prior to Game One of the Playoff Series, Milano has to complete two league games against Vanoli Cremona and Napoli Basket on April 13 and 16 respectively.
Bentil registered 15 points and gathered three rebounds in Milano’s last league outing; the team lost 65-83 to Virtus Bologna with Bentil leading Milano in scoring.
