Basketballghana.com gathers Ghana Center Amida Brimah’s foot injury has landed Filou Oostende in a tough spot regarding its playing personnel.

Brimah suffered a foot injury two weeks ago and is expected to miss four more weeks after breaking the metatarsal bone in his foot in a Belgian Pro League game.

Oostende was expected to sign a replacement since the injury is likely to keep the former Indiana Pacers defender out for the remainder of the season but a move for a replacement has hit a snag.

The team can’t sign a replacement after February 14 as per league rules leaving a big hole on Filou’s roster for the latter part of the 2021-2022 Season.

Since joining the Belgian side after a wonderful run in Puerto Rico with Mets de Guaynabo, the 6 foot 10 inch Brimah has played a key role for Filou.

The team played in the Belgian Cup but lost to Limburg United and made it to the Round of 16 in the Basketball Champions League.
