Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghanaian Forward Reggie Agbeko played a role in Zornotza’s quarterfinal stage win in the Spanish lower tier in his the latest outing for the Small Forward.

Agbeko played 18 minutes off the bench in Zornotza’s 78-73 win over La Roda with Agbeko registering seven points, five rebounds and an assist.

Only two Zornotza players scored double figures in the contest with Borja Mendia’s 19 points leading the game’s scoring chart.

Agbeko attempted just six shots the entire game and converted three of them with all three coming from two point range; he scored one of two free throws but attempted no three point shot.

The return leg is to be played on Saturday, April 23 with the winner set to play against the winner of the Barcelona/ Gran Cana series at the semifinal stage.
