Basketballghana.com can confirm Olimpia Milano will play against Reggiana in the first round of games in the 2021-2022 Italian Serie A Basketball Playoffs.
The matchup comes off on Sunday, May 15 and Ghana Forward Ben Bentil is expected to feature in the game for Olimpia Milano as he has done in his first season competing in Italy’s premier division.
The upcoming game is the first of a best of five games series in the postseason that determines the team that progresses to the semifinal stage.
The last time Reggiana faced off against Milano was in the Regular Season April 23 with Olimpia bagging a 67-63 win with Bentil playing 22 minutes and registering nine points, three rebounds and a steal. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
In 17 games played this regular season, 27 year old 6 foot 8 inch Forward Bentil averaged 10.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists.
After missing out on qualifying to the Euroleague semis, Milano is aiming to end the season on a high note after securing the Italian Cup earlier in the season.
