Two Tudu based teams with deep connections to each other are struggling thus far in the 2022 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Regular Season.
Tudu Magic and Galaxy Basketball Women are yet to record a win this season in the ABL Men’s Division I and Women’s Division II respectively.
The league is on a hiatus following the conclusion of the first round of games that had both teams score zero wins in eight games to rank bottom of their respective divisions.
Magic’s final outing in the first round ended in a 33-51 loss to Leopards while Galaxy Women lost 17-39 to Ghana Army on Friday, May 20 at the Prisons Court in Cantonments.
On the other hand, Galaxy Basketball Men’s team has maintained its impressive form to rank second in the Men’s Division II Group A with five wins and a loss in six games.
Galaxy’s Men’s team competed in the 2021 Finals but has fared way better than its close counter parts. Below is a full breakdown of the teams’ standings:
