Basketballghana.com can confirm a high level delegation from the Ghana Education Service (GES) will be in attendance for the Basketball Honours.
The Basketball Honours is an award scheme organized by RITE Sports Limited to recognize the role of individuals and organizations in the development of basketball in Ghana.
The Award scheme is slated to take place on Friday, June 17 at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) Headquarters in Ghana’s capital, Accra. (Click highlighted text to watch sneak peek into the Hall)
In the lead up to the event, Ghana’s biggest basketball portal understands an entourage made of high ranking members of the GES will attend the Basketball Honours Program.
Greater Accra Regional Director, Mrs. Monica Ankrah, National Physical Education Coordinator Michael Ntow Ayeh, John Ofori Antwi, Headmaster- Koforidua Senior High Technical School, Emmanuel Kobina Baidoo, Headmaster- Tema Secondary School and Cynthia Wise Attor are listed as attendees.
Other notable names and institutions heavily involved in the success story of Sprite Ball and UPAC-Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges-Basketball Championship have been invited to the event.
Veteran Broadcaster Louis “Lexis Bill” Sakyiamah will MC the program.
