Ghana Forward Ben Bentil is a league champion for the third time in his professional career after aiding Olimpia Milano win the 2022 Italian Serie A Basketball title.

Milano beat Virtus Bologna 81-64 in Gam6 to clinch the title in a repeat Finals of the 2021 Season that had Bologna win four straight games to clinch the title. Bentil joined Milano early in the just ended season from Turkish side Bahacesehir Koleji Istanbul after an eight game run.

Reacting to Milano’s 29th league title win, the former Dallas Mavericks player wrote on his Twitter page, “Back to Back Championships…Sheesh Thank You Lord”. (Click highlighted text to view message on Twitter)

Bentil won two league titles with Panathinaikos in Greece before signing for Bahcesehir; his time in Greece had him win the Greek Cup too.

Not long after joining Milano, Bentil helped the team win the Italian Cup to mark back to back seasons for the 27 year old Sekondi native with a League and Cup double.

In the Game 6 win, Bentil played 21 minutes as a starter and registered six points, two rebounds, three assists, a block and a steal.
