Knights Guard Botchway drives to the basket in ABL game against Ashaiman

Information reaching Basketballghana.com indicates Spintex Knights Basketball Club will represent Ghana in this year’s Tournoi International Basketball Tournament.

The competition is scheduled to run from July 18 to July 22 at the Palais des Sports Treichville in Abidjan, Ivory Coast with eight teams including Knights set to compete for the title. Teams from Nigeria, Benin, Ghana and host nation Ivory Coast will participate.

This year’s edition of the Tournoi International has eight teams representing four West African nations competing; Knights is the sole Ghanaian competitior.

Invitation to compete in the upcoming tournament comes at a great time for Knights as the team is in brilliant form competing in the 2022 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II and Team Community Basketball League.

Spintex has nine wins in nine appearances in the ABL and has booked its place in the Team League Finals where the team comes up against Nungua Coldstore at a yet to be determined date due to Knights participation in the Tournoi International.
