In little less than two weeks, the Prisons Court in Cantonment has seen some breathtaking basketball action played by an extremely talented pool of players.

Custom Excise and Preventive Services (CEPS) coasted to an easy 54-21 victory over Reformers in the third week of the ladies series on Thursday while an improved performance saw CYO overcome Magic in a close contest at the same venue in another round of epic clash.

The CEPS ladies emulated the shining example of their male counterpart in the ongoing league to see off Reformers in a highly entertaining game. They young ladies showed moral fiber and strength of mind to dispose of the challenge of their opponent to extend their incredible run in the league.

CEPS, who have shown their quality in all areas of play faced off against a Reformers team who have deservedely been praised by crowd and coaches alike. And they showed their pedigree once again by dismantling the challenge of their opponent.

In another game at the same court on Thursday, CYO triumphed 39-23 at the expense of an excellent but underachieving Magic ladies team.

Veteran coach Mathias Ocloo’s side made sure of the maximum points with a determined game and go into the fourth round in a buoyant mood.

Police ladies produced a twenty –two (22) points difference to beat Air force 52-30 in another explosive game in the final game of the day.

It was a great game for the Police ladies who exhibited sublime piece of skills and dexterity to increase their point build up in the three week old league.

The attention will shift to the men division on Friday and Saturday.
