The ink had yet to dry on the success of CEPS in the men’s basketball series but their female counterpart dominated the headlines over the weekend with another awe-inspiring performance against CYO.

CEPS ladies beat their opponent 52-27 in a one sided contest at the Prison’s court to extend their unbeaten run in the series.

Coach Braimah Lawah could earn a double championship in the series if his charges manage to clinch the title for the second year in a row.

It was business as usual for CEPS who took the game to the side of veteran coach Mathias Ocloo who failed to find answers to the blitz of their opponent to end the day on a fourteen (14) points haul.

It was the second defeat in a row for CYO following their 25-44 defeat to the Police Service in their previous encounter.

Holy Family made amends for their earlier blip to CEPS to account for Reformers 40-32 in the final game of the day.
