Defending champions Police ladies and CEPS will meet in the reverse of the 2008 finals in the 2010 edition of the Thome Cabalan Championship after both teams negotiated their respective semi-final ties on Thursday.

Coach Braimah Lawah side were no match for Turbo Jets as they strolled to a 72-46 victory in the second game of the day as they look forward to the much expected grand finale against their foes on Friday.

The Burma camp based side which came into the game on high following their stellar performances against Reformers and Magic had to settle for a place in the third and fourth game.

Their challenge was killed in the first two quarters after CEPS took a commanding lead on the day. Veronica Deh was once again the inspirer for CEPS who have played second fiddle to Police for two years. They now look forward to avenge the defeat they suffered at the hands of Police who piped them to the title in the series on the final day of competition.

The defending champions also accounted for coach Mathias Ocloo’s C.Y.O in a one sided game. They triumphed 53-30 to set a date with their bitter rivals in Friday’s final.
