After leading Cantonments to record their first win in the ongoing Community Dunks, Power Forward, Frank Adobler now considers himself as the man to spearhead the title defence of the side.
Adobler, 18, is the key figure for Cantonments- playing some mouth-watering basketball with so much promise – clearly underlying his status as one of the ‘power forwards’ in Community Dunks.
He played a pivotal role for the champions last season-helping Coach Daniel Sowah’s side to lift the title in a whirlwind fashion. He’s once again shown his power play at this year’s Community Dunks displaying unique skills.
He was 3/3 against new entrant Teshie-Nungua even though they ended up suffering an embarrassing defeat in their opening game. They however had their tactics spot with a crucial victory over Ashaiman on Sunday and Adobler was again instrumental in handing the defending champions their first victory and now give them a good chance to make the semis.
He’s polite, gentle and these attribute are crucial in developing his burgeoning talent.

‘We didn’t start on a good note but we went back and reflected on our performance and I’m happy we listened to instructions from our coach and we came out well’.
Cantonment faces Maamobi-Nima on Saturday in a game that they must win at all cost if they’re to stake a claim for a place in the semis.
