The Greater Accra Indomie Community Dunks finished over the weekend with four teams qualifying to the finals on September 1.

Burma camp continued their high-scoring spree in the competition by beating Cantonment 32-12 to top Pool B.

Coach Raymond Maha’s charges will surely go into the finals as one the huge favourite for the title following a surging run in the three-week competition.

There are no guarantees in the highly prestigious Indomie Communty Dunks, which is what Ridge were reminded of at the CYCC basketball court at Kawukudi in Accra as lack of form led them to third-place finish in the group.

They however ended on a high after recording 37-22 victory over whipping boys Nima-Maamobi in a highly entertaining game.

In the other games in Pool A, James Town took qualification to the semi-final stage by the scruff of the neck after beating Adabraka 25-12.

Dansoman made three wins out of three after white-washing Labadi 30-9 in a one sided contest.

The quartets – Burma Camp, Dansoman, Cantonments and James Town have booked their passage to the final awaiting the outcome of matches in the Central Region on August 25.
