CEPS ladies began the defense of their title on a positive note with a resounding 49-18 win over Galaxy in the 2012 Cabalan Thomme Championship on Tuesday.

The champions took an early control to signal their intention of defending the trophy they won two years ago at the Lebanon court.

The team appeared to have plenty of options forward with Christine and Felicia grabbing all the headlines with superb lay-ups and buckets that got their opponent scratching for answers.

Many enthusiastic followers of the game buzzed about the performance of CEPS, leaving many to wonder which team could possible stop them.

They next line up against Reformers on Saturday.

The other game on Tuesdays saw Magic men lose narrowly to Yotive in a game that brought the best out of the two teams.

But after an end-to-end action, Yotive reigned supreme by holding their verve to win 53-50.

Yotive will battle Reformers on Thursday while Magic will stand by in B.
