Prempeh College beat fiercest rivals Opoku Ware to secure qualification to the 2014 Sprite Ball Championship in Accra.
The two major rivals in the Ashanti Region clashed in a highly explosive game at Kumasi Anglican Senior High School.
The competition, which was a round-robin format, saw Prempeh emerged winners after the one-day contest.
Opoku Ware took the second spot after beating Kumasi Anglican.
KASS will also represent the region during next year’s tournament after placing third.
The three qualifying schools managed victories over Kumasi High to secure their berth at the 2014 finals.
In the girls division, T.I Ahmadiya also managed to beat former champions Yaa Asantewaa to emerge winners.
The 2014 Sprite Ball Championship will take place in Accra at a yet to be determined venue in January.
