Fixtures for the 2016 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship will be determined at the official launch of the competition on Thursday February 25 at 17:00 GMT.

The event which will be telecast live at Studio B of premier Ghana channel TV3 will also have the trophy to be contested for by 28 tertiary institutions unveiled.

The teams have already been drawn in zones with Zones A, F and G hosting institutions from Greater Accra and Volta Regions, Zone C hosting institutions from Brong-Ahafo Region and Zone D hosting institutions from Ashanti Region.

The other zones- B and E- will host tertiary institutions from the Western and Central Regions and Upper West and Northern Regions respectively.

The third edition of the UPAC Championship is headlined by Rexona and supported by CAL Bank, MTN and Fanyogo and will take place between March 5 and April 16.
