“We are going to train harder because the teams coming from Sunyani and other places, they are really strong, they are really good teams so we have to train harder and prepare harder to meet them”.

The second best placed team between Zones A, F and G will qualify to the quarter finals of the Championship; Valley View’s qualification to the next stage of the Championship hinges on results in Zones A and G.

Zone G qualifiers will take place on Friday April 8 at the University of Ghana where hosts University of Ghana takes on Marshalls University College, Central University College and Wisconsin University College.

The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and Pentecost University College’s game in Zone A will be completed on the same day.

The 2016 UPAC Championship is headlined by Rexona, supported by MTN, Fanyogo and CAL Bank in partnership with Basketballghana.com, TV3, Y FM and Ghana Sports Newspaper.
