DC Dynamics will play the Navy Basketball team on Friday April 29 at the Lebanon House in Tudu, Accra in a friendly game as both teams prepare for the commencement of the Greater Accra Men’s Division I Basketball League.

The league which is set to commence on May 5 will have 10 teams compete against each other with the sole aim of dethroning reigning champions Braves of CEPS.

The game forms part of structured pre season program to ensure the team shows up in the best shape to take on the best in the Ghana’s capital according to Dynamics Coach Feranmi Olulonyo.

Dynamics engaged recently crowned Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship winners University of Ghana (UG) in another friendly last week, losing 36-38.

The close game which had the Dansoman-based side lead with less than two minutes left to play ended up turning the ball over twice in quick succession resulting in UG points. The late points ensured UG won its’ first game after winning the tertiary title.

UG used the game as preparation for an upcoming international tournament in South Africa later this year. UG beat Accra Polytechnic 45-44 to clinch the institution’s first UPAC title on April 16.
