Reformers of Prisons Coach Prosper Agbleta wasn’t too pleased with his side’s performance stating there is much work to be done, despite recording a 51-43 win over Navy in the Accra Basketball League Women’s Division.

The win gave Reformers a return to winning ways following a 22-28 loss to Galaxy in the previous week. In an interview with Ghana’s leading basketball portal, the seasoned trainer wasn’t impressed with his side’s output. He said:

“I feel happy but I fell there is much work to be done. In the last game we were not rebounding and that cost us a lot today we rebounded a little bit we had about four, five offensive rebounds and defensive rebounds that helped us clinch the victory”.

Reformers held a 22-17 lead at half time but wobbled in the early parts of the third quarters where Navy deployed a better defensive system than they did in the first half. Navy went on a scoring run on the back of Point Guard Marian Mensah’s amazing plays.

The reintroduction of Promise Ofori and Elizabeth Atobrah halted Navy’s run as the veteran duo controlled the game’s pace with pin point passing and shooting. The team has two wins from three games thus far in the season.
