DC Dynamics Coach Feranmi Olulonyo has debunked assertions his side is not cut for Accra Basketball League (ABL) Division I by stating his side is competitive and yet to be blown out by the competition.

He made the statement in an interview with Basketballghana.com prior to his side’s much anticipated showdown against Tudu Magic on June 3 at Lebanon House in Tudu, Accra. Dynamics have lost two games despite leading for long periods in both leading many to suggest the team isn’t ready for the division. He said:

“Basketball is a game of runs…if we are not competitive and we are being blown out by 20 or 30points that might make more sense than us blowing leads. Fact of the matter is we are competitive, we’ve been competitive so far and we’ve lost games. In sports you win or lose games”.

The Dansoman-based side will have a bright chance of staying in the division should they beat Magic on Friday. Dynamics sit bottom of the 10 team standings with two points as Magic have won a game from two thus far and sit sixth on the standings with three points.

Olulonyo will come face to face with Magic’s energizer coach James Okine who is one of Ghana’s best young trainers following impressive stints at various spots.
