Air Force’ winning run in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division will be seriously tested by a resurgent Galaxy team when the two teams meet at the Prisons Court in Cantonments, Accra to honor a Week Four fixture.

Unbeaten champions Braves of Customs will play home side Reformers of Prisons before Fire Service engages Navy in what should be a fiery contest as both teams are yet to win a game since the league commenced on May 5. Air Force duel with Galaxy will be another fiery duel in a fascinating list of games.

The team has successfully navigated past Navy, Fire Service and Reformers and are yet to be beaten. They alongside Braves of Customs are the only sides who are unbeaten in the season thus far.

The Thomas Ankrah-led side will have to neutralize Galaxy’s bigs Harriet Hayford, Naa Shika Moffat and Nancy Otibo on the board and in the post whilst preventing penetrating Guards Selinatu Quaye, Joana Annanel and Karine Quarnum.
Air Force have rode on the back off Point Guards Annabel Dsane and Memena Mumuni to outscore opponents.

However, Susan Mills and Grace Yinamyah have shown the balanced nature of the team with both playing tough defense. Mills shut out Fire Service mercurial Guard Carlyn Adjei in their matchup. Yinamyah took out Promise Ofori and Elizabeth Atebkah out of sync when Air Force played Reformers of Prisons.
