The Prisons Court will come alive as Week Four of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division is set to commence at 15:00 GMT with Air Force and Galaxy headlining the fixtures. Home side Reformers of Prisons will take on unbeaten Braves of Customs as Fire Service battles Navy in the remaining games.
Air Force is yet to lose a game after three games and will on the lookout for an extension to their winning streak in the league. The team has looked impressive in the early part of the season matching Braves unbeaten tally. However, the streak will be on the line as a rejuvenated Galaxy side whose 37-24 win over Reformers gave them two wins in three games.
Reformers face a daunting task to get a win over defending champions Braves who have been in super form since the start of the season. The team will hope Guard Promise Ofori recovers fully from a finger injury that bothered her in last round’s loss to Air Force.
Navy will be favorites to collect all two points when they meet Fire Service in the final game on the day. Navy has lost all three games in the season matching Fire’s winless record. However, the team played well against Braves and have momentum on their side heading into the matchup.
