The Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I matchups scheduled to take place later today at the Lebanon House in Tudu, Accra are a must watch.
The rain drenched court will have Navy take on Holy Family in the opening game at 17:00 GMT before home side Tudu Magic plays against Teshie Rangers. However, the biggest matchup of the round has pitches Fire Service against Braves of Customs in the final game.
Both sides head into the game unbeaten though Braves have played two more games with Fire’s sole win in the season coming against Holy Family. In sharp shooting Small Forward Farahat Tamimu, Fire has one of Ghana’s best marksmen who would come up against his former team.
Tamimu was integral member of Braves all conquering side that has dominated the local landscape winning multiple titles. Conversely, Tamimu’s attitudes led to several run in with officials and teammates that ultimately resulted in an expulsion.
The bitter breakup will be the main talking point of the highly anticipated duel as Farahat’s ability to control his emotions and play well will be closely monitored.
