Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I debutants DC Dynamics will face its stiffest challenge when the team lines up later today at the Prisons Court in Cantonments against Braves of Customs at 16:00 GMT. The former Division II Champions head into the game with massive momentum following its maiden win in the upper tier competition.

Coach Feranmi Olulonyo’s side held off Holy Family winning 40-39 marking a departure from what had been synonymous with the Dansoman-based side in previous games. Hitherto beating Holy Family, Dynamics had lost two close games despite holding big leads against Teshie Rangers and Reformers of Prisons.

In an intense, competitive but low quality game, Dynamics prevailed despite not showing off their exciting blend of ball movement and clever plays. The team will however, have its hands full against perennial champions Braves of Customs in the much anticipated showdown.

The on court battles are set to be highlighted by Guards Nii Lantei Blankson and Hashim Brimah, Dennis Boateng and Suleman Abubakari of Dynamics and Braves respectively. On the sidelines, outspoken young tactical stud Olulonyo will look to upstage veteran and reigning Coach of the Year Lawal Brimah.
