Accra Basketball League (ABL) Representative Prosper Agbleta has lauded teams in the league for their professional conduct during the registration process of new players for the second round. The registration period lasted three days and ended on Wednesday June 6 at the Lebanon House in Tudu.
Speaking to Basketballghana.com during the second round’s commencement at the Prisons Court, the veteran administrator was pleased with the outcome of the process. He confirmed Navy, Reformers and Fire Service registered new players in the women’s division. Reformers and CYO on the other hand, registered new players in the men’s division II.
Some new players registered in time were able to suit up for their respective teams. Juliana Cudjoe formerly of Aggrey Memorial Mount Zion School debuted for Reformers in the team’s 59-51 win over Air Force.
Her partnership with Augustina Amuzu, Promise Ofori and Elizabeth Adebkah proved a master stroke in Reformers must needed win.
The Guard played an outstanding role in Aggrey’s triumph at the 2016 Sprite Ball Championship. Registering however, did not extend to the men’s upper division.
